BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR)

PRESENTATION

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Bachelor’s degree at EMSP is a RNCP-registered Level 6 qualification designed to train future leaders of sustainable transition within organisations. The aim is no longer simply to “do good,” but to integrate environmental and social challenges at the core of business strategy.

This programme is ideally suited to managers responsible for driving CSR and Sustainable Development strategies, who are seeking creative, passionate, curious, and motivated collaborators.

The EMSP CSR Bachelor’s degree prepares students to be highly operational from their first professional experience or to continue their studies at a Bac+4/5 level. Courses, conferences, masterclasses, and business games are delivered by professionals and experts in their fields.

Students are connected with our network of high-end partner companies to undertake their work-study placement.

PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Bachelor’s degree at EMSP, a Level 6 state-recognised qualification, aims to achieve the following objectives:

  • Analyse climate change, biodiversity, and resource depletion.

  • Learn relevant regulations (such as the CSRD directive in Europe) and international standards (ISO 26000).

  • Learn to draft sustainability reports and monitor environmental and social performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Evaluate the impact of a product from its creation to end-of-life.

  • Select suppliers who respect human rights and environmental standards.

  • Promote diversity, gender equality, and quality of work life (QWL).

  • Communicate transparently without engaging in greenwashing.

  • Learn to engage employees in adopting new sustainable behaviours.

  • Be able to interact effectively with clients, shareholders, NGOs, and local communities.

EMSP Business School is a higher education institution subject to state pedagogical oversight through the Académie de Paris. EMSP Business School offers programmes in Sustainability Management ranging from Bac to Bac+5, delivered both on-campus and online, in initial and continuing education.

Students entering the first year are required to validate all competency blocks.

FURTHER STUDIES

This Bachelor’s degree has a professional orientation and therefore leads directly to employment. You also have the opportunity to enrol in the first year of a Master’s degree.

Admission Requirements

ENTRY LEVEL(S)

Baccalaureate and Bac+2

Prerequisites:

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Bachelor’s degree  at EMSP is open to holders of a Baccalaureate and, for entry into the 3rd year, to holders of a BTS or any other Level 5 qualification.

Admission is based on application review and, where applicable, an interview.

DURATION

DURATION OF STUDIES:

  • 3 years for students holding a Baccalaureate or an equivalent qualification
  • Work-study programme possible from the 3rd year.

ACCESS DEADLINES

Applications for the September 2026 intake run from 1 March to 20 September 2026.
Applications for the January 2027 deferred intake remain open until 18 December.

Procedures

Access to our programmes may be initiated:

  • By the employer,

  • At the initiative of the employee with their consent,

  • By a student or their legal guardian.

A work-study programme is possible from the 3rd year.

After completing the application form, our school undertakes to respond within 72 hours.

If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose—regardless of the funding method you are considering—a knowledge assessment test and/or a placement interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.

  • Work-study contract: the company covers the tuition fees on behalf of the student.

The third year of the CSR programme, focused on specialisation, is organised around two (2) axes:

AXIS 1: SPECIALISATION SUBJECTS

  • Designing and Launching a Sustainable Product

  • Change and Performance Management

Semester 2:

  • CSR and Sustainable Development Standards and Regulations

  • Design and Co-Construction of a CSR Policy

  • Management and Implementation of a CSR Project in a Company

  • Internship (Mandatory)

AXIS 2: CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Validation of competency blocks:

  • Block 1: Coordinate and improve the commercial activity of the retail establishment

  • Block 2: Contribute to the strategic directions of the brand and optimise the economic performance of the retail establishment
