BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN QUALITY, HYGIENE, SAFETY AND ENVIRONMENT
PRESENTATION
The Quality, Hygiene, Safety, and Environment Bachelor’s degree (QHSE) at EMSP is a RNCP-registered Level 6 qualification aimed at training senior technicians or assistant engineers capable of managing professional and environmental risks while optimising company performance.
This programme is ideally suited to QHSE managers, who are seeking creative, passionate, curious, and motivated collaborators.
The EMSP QHSE Bachelor’s degree prepares you to be highly operational from your first professional experience or to continue your studies at a Bac+4/5 level. Courses, conferences, masterclasses, and business games are delivered by professionals and experts in their fields.
Students are connected with our network of high-end partner companies to undertake their work-study placement.
PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES
The Quality, Hygiene, Safety, and Environment Bachelor’s degree (QHSE) at EMSP is a State-recognised Level 6 qualification aiming to achieve the following objectives:
Implement ISO 9001 standards.
Manage environmental impact through ISO 14001.
Be able to implement ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety.
Organise “safety briefings” or internal training sessions.
Monitor compliance with procedures in the field.
Serve as a link between management (strategic objectives) and operators (field reality).
Analyse the causes of a malfunction using methods such as Ishikawa or the 5 Whys.
Propose corrective actions to prevent recurrence of incidents.
EMSP Business School is a higher education institution subject to state pedagogical oversight through the Académie de Paris. EMSP Business School offers programmes in Sustainability Management ranging from Bac to Bac+5, delivered both on-campus and online, in initial and continuing education.

FURTHER STUDIES
This Bachelor’s degree has a professional orientation and therefore leads directly to employment. You also have the opportunity to enrol in the first year of a Master’s degree.

Admission Requirements
ENTRY LEVEL(S)
Baccalaureate and Bac+2
Prerequisites:
The Quality, Hygiene, Safety, and Environment Bachelor’s degree (QHSE) at EMSP is open to holders of a Baccalaureate and, for entry into the 3rd year, to holders of a BTS or any other Level 5 qualification.
Admission is based on application review and, where applicable, an interview.
DURATION
DURATION OF STUDIES:
- 3 years for students holding a Baccalaureate or an equivalent qualification
- Work-study programme possible from the 3rd year.

ACCESS DEADLINES
Applications for the September 2026 intake run from 1 March to 20 September 2026.
Applications for the January 2027 deferred intake remain open until 18 December.
Procedures
Access to our programmes may be initiated:
By the employer,
At the initiative of the employee with their consent,
By a student or their legal guardian.
A work-study programme is possible from the 3rd year.
After completing the application form, our school undertakes to respond within 72 hours.
If the programme requires specific prerequisites, we will propose—regardless of the funding method you are considering—a knowledge assessment test and/or a placement interview (by telephone or videoconference) and/or a review of your application file.

Work-study contract: the company covers the tuition fees on behalf of the student.
